
Ingredients
- 1 lb. steak (stinly sliced)
- 1 Tbsp. Olive or avocado oil
- 1.5 tsp. Favorite steak seasoning Or 1/2 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/2 small onion (sliced)
- 1 green pepper (sliced)
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms of your choice
- 1/2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1/2 of a block of cream cheese (4 oz)
- 6 slices of provolone cheese of 1 cup shredded
Directions
Preheat skillet on medium heat then add the oil. Toss the meat with your steak seasoning. Add steak to skillet and cook until browned. Remove steak from skillet, leaving the grease to cook the vegetables in. Add more oil if needed. Cook onion, pepper and mushrooms until soft or you can leave it a little crunchy if you like. Add beef broth, cream cheese and Worcestershire. Cook until the cream cheese melts and you have a nice cheesy sauce. Add the beef back to the pan and stir. Top with your provolone cheese and cover with lid to melt cheese or put in 350 degree oven if you want to brown and crisp your cheese a bit for about 15 minutes or under the broiler.
