This is a very lite pasta dish. The three types of olives absolutely make this dish, which can also be made without meat.

Ingredients

  • 1lb ground pork
  • 10 Black Olives (sliced)
  • 10 Kalamata Olives (sliced)
  • 10 Castelvetrano (sliced)
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (undrained)
  • 1 Tbsp Oregano
  • 1 tsp Basil
  • 3 tsp. Minced Garlic
  • 1 tsp. Onion powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Directions

  • Brown ground pork.
  • Add can of tomatoes with juice
  • Add sliced olives
  • Stir in seasonings
  • Add Penne pasta and stir
  • Add enough water to lightly cover and bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat and cover
  • Simmer until pasta is done.
