Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • Minute rice (two soup cans full)
  • 2 cans of mushroom soup
  • 1 bag of frozen spinach
  • 16oz Sour Cream
  • 2 lbs sharp cheddar block (1/8” thick sliced length wise)
  • Mushrooms, small package sliced
  • Salt, garlic & onion powder

Directions:

  • Pre heat oven to 350°
  • Cook ground beef, add seasonings to taste.
  • Reduce heat. Stir in frozen spinach and sliced mushrooms and cover.
  • Grease 9×13 baking pan
  • In large mixing bowl, combine soup, sour cream, and rice (2 soup cans full) and mix well.
  • Stir in meat mixture. Mix well.
  • Spoon out half of the mixture into the baking pan and level.
  • Cover layer with cheese slices. (Should be 14)
  • Spoon out remainder and cover with remaining cheese slices (14 slices).
  • Place pan in oven for 20-30 minutes, until cheese is completely melted.
  • Serve.
