This a very nice and light pasta dish. Bucatini is becoming one of our favorite pastas. Bucatini is a tad bit thicker than spaghetti and has a hole through it that allows the sauce to run through it.
Ingredients:
- 2 chicken breasts, thinly sliced
- Bucatini pasta (4 servings)
- 2 Tbsp Harissa Olive Oil
- 3 Tbsp Lemon infused Olive Oil
- 1 Tbsp extra virgin Olive Oil
- 3 pinches course Kosher salt
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 3 tsp Corn starch, heaping
- 1 cup water
Directions:
- Place sliced chicken in a bowl, add 2 Tbsps of Harissa and Lemon infused Olive oil, salt, garlic powder and mix well.
- Heat pot of water for pasta.
- Heat skillet. Add 1 Tbsp each Lemon infused, virgin Olive Oil, and butter.
- Add chicken. Cook on medium heat until done.
- Add pasta to boiling water.
- Mix in chicken broth and minced garlic into skillet.
- In a small measuring cup, add water and corn starch. Stir until mixed. Pour a little at a time into skillet while stirring until desired consistency is acquired, I used whole cup.
- Drain and plate pasta. Ladle in chicken and sauce.
