This a very nice and light pasta dish. Bucatini is becoming one of our favorite pastas. Bucatini is a tad bit thicker than spaghetti and has a hole through it that allows the sauce to run through it.

Ingredients:

  • 2 chicken breasts, thinly sliced
  • Bucatini pasta (4 servings)
  • 2 Tbsp Harissa Olive Oil
  • 3 Tbsp Lemon infused Olive Oil
  • 1 Tbsp extra virgin Olive Oil
  • 3 pinches course Kosher salt
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 3 tsp Corn starch, heaping
  • 1 cup water

Directions:

  • Place sliced chicken in a bowl, add 2 Tbsps of Harissa and Lemon infused Olive oil, salt, garlic powder and mix well.
  • Heat pot of water for pasta.
  • Heat skillet. Add 1 Tbsp each Lemon infused, virgin Olive Oil, and butter.
  • Add chicken. Cook on medium heat until done.
  • Add pasta to boiling water.
  • Mix in chicken broth and minced garlic into skillet.
  • In a small measuring cup, add water and corn starch. Stir until mixed. Pour a little at a time into skillet while stirring until desired consistency is acquired, I used whole cup.
  • Drain and plate pasta. Ladle in chicken and sauce.
